If another Saturday ticket shows up, I'd like to buy it. I went on Friday, after my farmer's mkt., looked around, made mental notes of the things I wanted to see, and got in line for The Voices of the Parks panel. Didn't get in, too many people. Then headed towards Dick Van Dyke's presentation. Sorry, full up. TWO HOURS BEFOREHAND. So, it being my friend Rick's birthday, I headed back up to L.A. to have dinner with him and friends, where I read later on twitter that Saturday's D23 is sold out! WTF? No announcements, nothing! How the hell do you sell out the Anaheim Convention Center? Needless to say, I'm seriously pissed off. They're running this thing like one of their badly organized merch events in Disneyland. The venues are too small, the waits are too long, and fans are being taken for granted/treated like the cash cows they are.

I have a ticket (thanks, Wolfy!) to go again on Sunday afternoon, after my mkt, but am unlikely to get there in time to see the 1:30 presentation on Cars Land. Tomorrow is an Imagineering panel, Michael Giacchino, Pixar, and Buena Vista Street. You know, the good stuff.

Fvckem. Fvckem real hard.
