Welp, didn't check the LoT in time for that - but I hope you had nearly as good time as we.

Enjoyed our rather romantic picnic up near the amphitheater, and the show exceeded even my rather grand expectations.

(Except that I was expecting Night on Bald Mountain as the encore, rather than Flight of the Bumblebee (WTF? Why?) - Maybe the, um, Cheranbog piece was considered too dark for the kiddies.)

Otherwise, it was completely rapturous and rad. Surprise Fireworks finale choreographed to The Nutcracker Suite was fantastic. Mickey coming out on stage to shake the conductor's hand after The Sorcerer's Apprentice was a great touch. The music was sublime, and most of the time I watched the orchestra with a vague eye on the film, but sometimes the film was great to watch with a live accompaniment.

We had fantastic seats, and the evening was just tremendously grand. I hope you guys had a great time as well.
