My friend Kolby (aka trail name "Condor") has been hiking the Pacific Coast Trail from Mexico to Canada (though I think he made it only to Oregon before winter setting in prevented further travel this season).
He's taken thousands of photographs, but recently selected his favorite 75 shots of the first 500 miles and posted them to his
