I remember when I was a kid, I was highly amused by the Alan Sues 
Peter Pan ads. I used to impersonate them, which must have worried my super-conservative dad. I found them goofy and funny. I didn't know that Sues' mannerisms might have any other connotations. (I was similarly amused by Paul Lynde, who I also enjoyed impersonating.)
