| True story.
In early December, a high school friend who lives in the Bay Area mentioned on Google+ that she had a high end consumer photo printer she was selling for $100 (Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II, retail in the $300-$400 range). As mentioned in a previous thread, the famed printer purchased 2 years ago sucks at printing photos. Sucks.

 Sold and sold.

It was a bit of a hassle getting it from her. She was only in town for a couple days, right in the middle of the holiday family gauntlet. Thankfully I found a couple hours to make a mad dash across the valley and back.

I was a little surprised to find out it's HUGE, it makes up to 19" prints. But we managed to find a place for it...but alas, one of the ink tanks was defective. So I contacted Canon support. They were awesome and immediately sent out a replacement ink tank. But I had made a typo when I sent them our address and it got returned to them. So they sent another one.

All of which meant....that today we have a new functioning printer that prints photos BEAUTIFULLY!! Happy printer day everyone!
