Boring show. Gervais, as I expected, was lackluster. You can't make lighting strike twice ... and when the pressure is on to be edgy and envelope-pushing, it's nearly guaranteed neither will happen.


I liked Macy and his wife's little ditty when presenting, and Rogan's ad lib. That was about it. Otherwise, presentations and speeches were just plain dull.


Fashion, both good and bad, did not disappoint. But I sure miss the days when the Globes were on local TV only, and the celebs didn't mind being seen, ad-libbing like crazy, and messing up constantly while very drunk.
