One of my kitties likes to knock things off shelves or other surfaces. I have a hope chest in the bedroom that he frequently knocks things off of. Not everything though - just whatever it is that he doesn't want up there. Spiral notebook. Perfume bottle. Charging cell phone. Socks. It's a good thing he's so darn cute when he does it.
