Point Blank was a hoot. Lee Marvin's first-nameless character shooting his way up the "organization" food chain in deadpan dialogue made this film a delight to watch. Not to mention the art direction of some of the swanky gangster digs. The films plays out a whole lot different to a contemporary audience, but there's so much to enjoy about what this film captures.
As for the venue, this time around we parked on the street and got in before they opened the driveway, so we got a prime location. We also were a group of about 10 so it was a fun party/festival atmosphere with never-ending picnic cuisine. Having a DJ at the event is also great, playing snippets from Taxi Driver and bollywood disco remakes
