We bought our bbq almost 11 years ago, a low end Charbroil two burner for $60. Turned out to be an excellent $60 investment. Hardly the best grill in the world, but for $60 it did an excellent job, was supernaturally efficient (I believe I only had to refill the tank TWICE. Maybe 3 times), and lasted 11 years (okay, 9.5 years, probably should have replaced it a little while ago).
With a cracked heat diffuser, rust on the grates, dead ignition, and ever-increasing cold spots it was time. Wasn't interested in bottom-of-the-line this time (especially since the quality of the the low end grills has gone WAY down in 11 years). So we went with this bad boy:
Tomorrow will be its first test run.
