I just checked the index of my book (Fantagraphics publication of Mickey Mouse Vol 1 - Race To Death Valley) and sure enough the story: "Mr Slicker & The Egg Robbers" is in there !!

ETA: Kevy, he only ATTEMPTED suicide (several times) - in the end he decided it wasn't worth it.
