Why does it cast Disney in a bad light when all they are doing is preventing people from committing fraud against them?

The article makes it seem like this is a recent implementation. I know there have been signs in front of DL and DCA for a few months directing multi-day pass holders to enter through specific gates. It sounds like they have been experimenting with this for a while.
