That is cool. I've been fascinated by scrims ever since the first time I saw the Carousel of Progress in the 60's. The little side scenes that were invisible until they were backlit, with those scenes on turntables so two scenes could appear behind the scrims in one act! Amazing! Also, the first time I saw a production of 1776 and they dropped a scrim during the finale, recreating the famous John Trumbull painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
