This just in: It turns out that DisneyKat and Derek actually got engaged aboard the Queen Mary just before heading to Disneyland for the noon meet.
I am not going to change the O.P. because I am too tickled by my inadvertent pun:
I didn't know the name of DisneyKat's fiance, so I just referred to him as "her beau." Later, when I found out his name was Derek, I added that to the post - - not realizing at first that it now read "beau Derek."
(If anyone is pop-culture-history challenged [cough*Not Afraid*cough], feel free to PM me for an explanation of the reference)
