Tour of California

So this year we go to see two stages- the climb up Balcom canyon, and the end stage at the Rose Bowl. Fun stuff, in spite of the rain on Balcon, which arrived just as the lead bike racers did. Bah- rain's not good for my spiffy new camera, so I had to resort to my waterproof camera.

Best shot, so far, though I'm still sorting and editing, is this one of the eventual winner, Peter Sagan, in the peloton.

Was fun. I'm glad we went to the local stages. Next challenge? How do we get to be race photographers? Husband has a motorcycle and is pretty decent on windy mountain roads, and I have a camera.
