A real pirate wouldnt need to move the day. They would just show up to sink a ship after a long day of fighting (corporate) raiders. ( time bandits)
I understand wanting to move it to the weekend, but i think it would be better if the celebrating was done on the actual day.
If not, can we move Thanksgiving to the following Monday, I am kinda busy on that Thursday.

No, the date is ALWAYS Sept. 19 (Cap'n Slappy's ex-wife's birthday.) Now, it happens that in 2004 Sept. 19 falls on a Sunday, and we recognize that may not meet everyone's desire for an excuse to party. While a lot of fun can be had ce;ebrating TLADP in a church setting (The choir will now sing, "How Great Thou Aaarrrrt!") we're suggesting that those of a more secular bent consider celebrating Talk Like A Pirate Weekend."
