American Cinematheque

American Cinematheque has some cool film serries coming up. First up at the Egyptian from September 9-11 is a collection of "Japanese Outlaw Masters" including the 1967 gangster film, Branded to Kill, a film Not Afraid and I saw on recommendation from Mousepod. Other films include: Goyokin, The Wolves, Kill!, Wolves Pigs and People.

Competing with this, over at the Aero in Santa Monica is a Alfred Hitchcock Retrospective (Spetember 1-11) which includes: The 39 Steps, Rear Window, Psycho, North by Northwest, Notorious, and Vertigo.

I'm not sure if we'll make it to any of these, but if you're ever in the mood to see some classic cinema on the big screen, remember to check out American Cinematheque.
