Poor animals.
One of my first thoughts when I found out about the hurricane and the flooding was about the mass animal casualties there will be as people are forced to abandon their pets. As noble as the Humane Society's efforts are, and I wish them success, I don't think I could donate to them instead of an organization to help the people that are still stranded without food and water. I feel so bad for all the stranded pets. I hope as many as possible are saved.
