I am officially tres jealous.
We are in the midst of a remodeling project. We are getting a new roof, outside paint, new carpeting and tile, and whatever else we can get before we run out of money. Today I came home from work and all the crappy, crappy, crappy berber carpet was gone!!!!!! In it's place is a lovely Karastan plush, and already I'm the carpet harpy from hell. Don't take that in the living room! Pick that up! Is that dog fur over there?
I am very, very tired, though. We've been staying up past midnite moving furniture, after working ten hour days. The roofers and carpet guys were coming over at 7:00 am, so not a lot of sleep this week. The inside work is finished now, so I don't have to worry about corralling scared cats into the spare bedroom, or keeping the dogs in line, or moving the damned birdcage into the bathroom. Now, I just have to put everything back.
