OK. There are two things about these reports that concern me.
- The photo caption says that the giant squid is tangled up in the line. That's usually not a good thing for a sea creature.
- The video shows a tenticle laying on the table in the lab the reporter states that the researcher first noticed that "This giant tenticle had gripped onto his research vehicle".
Did the squid die after being tangled? How did they get the tenticle? Is the squid still freely terrorizing Nemo somewhere in the deep?
Edit: I suppose if I read the entire BBC article, I'd get the story, huh?
