Well, it happend again. We were early for Dinner, so we stopped off at our favoirite used records store, Fingerprints. Of course, having resisted the urge to buy for so long, and cheapness of "used" spurred quite a buying bonanza. We picked up:
- Verve Remixed3 - The third volume in remixing some Verve greats
- Lali Puna - I thought I was over that - contemplative german electronica
- Talking Heads - Stop Making Snese - Live tracks from their best tour ever
- Gary Numan - Replicas - A nostalgic retrofit of my vinyl collection, I loved this guy when I was in high school
- The Creatures - HA!! - Big Drums and Soiuxsie vocals
- New York Dolls - Live from Royal Festival Hall - Rding another nostalgia wave, but great live tracks from one of the best urpunk bands out there
- Christmas Remixed - Becasue everyone needs a DJ remix X-mas album
- Madness - The Dangermen Session - Old School Ska classics
- JPop CD - Becasue everyone needs a little Happy now and then
To top off the extravagent evening though, I CP & GD brought me back a Parisian find, Katarine - Robots aprés tout - which includes a video bonus of creeping robotic trans-gendered Frenchmen. It of course rocks.
