No fun anymore? War of the Worlds wasn't escapist fun, even though a disaster flick? Ok, how 'bout light fluff like The Terminal or Catch Me If You Can? Not having enough fun yet from good ol' Steven?


I found the shot of the WTC to be the perfect comment at the end of the film. Terrorism will never end, and its brutality may sink all of us to levels of animal barbarism that civilized society is meant to shun. I hardly think a light touch was appropriate for Munich, or that a message-laden image at the finale was out of place for this particular message-laden film.



Oh, and I'm moving this to Beatnik, cause I (and others) may enjoy discussing the film now that we're done dissing the idiots who are too young and stupid to know either the title, significant 20th Century history, or basic geography.
