Actually, a minor league baseball team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is what you are thinking of. The did in fact call themselves the
Quakes and did indeed name their stadium The Epicenter. The mascot's name is Tremblor. They are a farm club for the Anaheim Angels.
We lived in RC when they opened this stadium. Nice place.
And the stadium where the Mighty Ducks (hockey) play is called the Pond. As in "Duck Pond"
