There is just no way it's only been a year since this site was started. Too much has happened..
After getting left behind during the exodus from MP, it was nice of a little birdie (actually a veritable flock of little birdies) to clue me in that LoT was coming and save me a spot...
Right off the bat the
the tone for the site was set by the guru of swank. If this was the rose parade the theme for this year would have been: "A Swanky state of mind"
Surprisingly few tech issued marred the sites arrival, with the able help of ISM and GD the site easily lived up to it's swanky overlay.
A few early
troublemakers showed up to test the overall swank state of mind. Rather than scorn and banishment, their transgressions were greeted with soft rebukes and encouragement to improve.
With the wicked properly swankafied the site rolled along picking up speed and touching on issues ranging from
timely news and commentary to the
downright silly.
Sure there were a few
bumps in the road, there always are, but in the end the swank was always stronger than the... (What's a word for anti-swank???)
So I offer my humble thanks to each and every one who is a part of this community from the Guru of swank to Janie, our newest member.
for all that you do to make this site what it is.
