Last year, there were rumors floating around about the Disney Gallery being turned into space for a Club 33 expansion. I was told that would not be the case, that that information still holds. However.......
It seemed the now closed Gallery (closed due to water damage from a very leaky roof) will re-open sometime in March as.....Disneyana Part Deux.
Gone will be the revolving themed exhibitions and the only art displayed will be that which can be purchased via the Print on Demand process. The former Gallery area will feature........merchandise. WOW! Just in time for the 50th!
Personally, I think they are blowing an opportunity here to do something wonderful about the History of Disneyland in celebration of the 50th. But, what do I know.
