| So, I ran 3/4 of a mile yesterday.  It's not much, but it represents the longest uninterupted distance I've run in, oh, 13 years, ever since I discovered I had developed exhertional asthma after collapsing about 3/4 of the way through a mile in PE.  It took something like 10 minutes (hardly the 6:18 mile pace I was running 14 years ago), and I paid for it with an evening of asthmatic coughing fits.  But it's still a pretty significant accomplishment.  I should be able to make a mile by the end of the week.
 Now, imagine what I could do if I manage to lose this extra 20 pounds hanging around.
