Sorry to disagree with you, NA ... but there's a
reason my friends and I would always pantomime this accident. It was just
waiting to happen. It was inevitable that some old geezer would fall during this particular boarding process ... and I simply can't believe that it took so long for this to happen (in fact, I just think this is the first time I've heard it reported).
Not that the Peter Pan Speedramp Loading Zone should be featured on the park map, but there's no doubt in my mind that it was a dangerous boarding situation that would result in an oldster accident. It is
not analogous to omnimover boarding like Haunted Mansion or Inner Space. It was a combination of omnimover loading zone and non-omnimover vehicles that was an accident waiting to happen ... till now.
