Didn't get a chance to post this here yet. Our Maine Coon, Magick, spent 5 days at the vet recently, and we just got his final test results this morning. Unfortunately, he's infected with FIP (F
eline Infectious Peritonitis), which is a terminal virus that causes fluid build-up in the lungs and abdomen, and has no cure. They "siphoned" him out and he's at home and very happy - eating, purring, bouncing around, but we don't know how long it will take for the disease to build-up again - could be days or months. 
If any of you have had experience with this devastating kitty disease, please share your story. We're just looking for hope in that he'll live a bit longer without suffering.
