Can we just start a commune and have done with it? Some place where we can farm and live bohemianly, but with enough hard plowing work to sustain us? (no snide remarks about me and my boyfriend, please)

I, too, am sick of my job and depressed about it. I don't know why, because it's a fine work environment. Something inside me is screaming for me to get out ... but I also crave comfort and security.

If the commune idea is too far a leap, I hope € will figure out to look within for the happiness dwelling in his greatness as a kind, warm, witty, compassionate, intelligent, funloving person ... and realize that the stuff of life that gets us down (jobs, ruts, seasons that can't decide between winter and summer on a daily basis) are surface coatings that should not force the focus of our attention.

Whether you are at a crappy job or at the lottery winning ceremony, you are always YOU. You can either let life's ever-changing circumstances of surface bring you up and down all Maliboomer-like, or you can choose the steady confidence and happiness of basing your emotional states on the wonderfulness of constant YOU. (€ can be way ahead in this game of self-referral, since he's got that really wonderful self of his to deal with.)
