Generally this should not be an issue but your milage might vary...

If you have

Option-A
DSL line comes out of the wall, into the dsl modem, out of the dsl modem directly into your computer. You will probably need your vendor software and instructions along with your user-id and password. In essence you are starting from scratch. Option-A does not have the geeky seal of approval.

Option-B
DSL line comes out of the wall into the dsl modem, out of the DSL modem into a router/hub/switch, and out of the router into your pc.

In this case you will probably be able to just plug the new PC in and that's it. Option-B does have the geeky seal of approval.
