I meet a Disney geek out in the real world today.
He's a member of the Disney vacation club and is planning to get married at WDW next year.
It was a bit surreal for me. I meet the average Disney fan now and then, the type that know what a fastpass is but not how to really work the system. There are also a few people that have caught on to the fact that I seem to know more about Disney vacations than their travel agents and talk with me about vacation plans
But real Disney geeks are few and far between around here. He saw the Disney vacation docs I received today and that got us talking. I could tell right off that he was used to being the "Disney expert". The type that might know that PoTC is down for rehab and can use basic Disney slang but definitly not the type that's ever taken part in plundering pirates.
I went easy on him.
He struck me as the type that might hang out on one of the more mainstream Disney sites. Perhaps if I see him again I'll ask if he knows any good Disney web sites...
