Asshat doesn't even cover it. It's bad enough that people steal things, but I just don't understand the destruction-for-destruction's-sake. I can't fathom how some enter's a strangers home and, after having taken what they wanted, makes a mess just to ice the cake. One last fvck you to the residents.
In addition to the usual identity theft issues, also keep a careful eye on her social security and/or pension checks. Rerouting existing sources of income is even easier than generating new ones.
