I share the sentiment of the past posters.
This is horrible. Good points about the identity theft as well as the re-routing of the social security checks.
It is a horrible feeling to be violated in that way. In your home and in GC's case, your identity.
I have heard that people, and if I recall mostly teens, do break things just for the fun of it. But, if they took the other things, well, possibly they want to see what they can get for them. Low lifes hang with low lifes, you know?
My family laughs at me but I leave a radio playing when I run out for a bit. But, it does work because my husband came home and was mighty sore that no one let him in, he heard the radio and thought someone was home.
You could have the police come out and check her house. Can you request that they do checks on her since you have a fear they might come back?
