You're probably thinking of
Starlight Express. It is indeed performed on roller skates (all the characters are trains), but it's not disco music. It happens to be my favorite show of all time. (Please Note: I did not say it was the
best show I've ever seen.)
I have had the Xanadu CD and DVD for some time now. I appreciate it for it's high Velveeta factor. However, I'm not sure that's going to be enough to create a
successful Broadway show.
