Oh wow! I had almost forgotten about Gene Pitney. I "discovered" him in the early 80's when my interest in alternative Punk and it's ilk got me exploring other genres. Somehow or other, his name and music faded from my life and I'm not sure why. I'm saddened by his early death but I think it's time to dust off some vinyl. Thanks for the link, MP.
