Hey! I love Super 8, and I have been working on a Super 8 epic of my own for about two and a half years.

I have shot about 30 rolls of a strange horror/fantasy, and our own HTHBellcaptain is in it, playing a crazed man in a dragon mask who hangs out in the woods and kills people.

I still have about two and a half scenes to shoot before I can assemble a complete narrative. I'vebeen traqnsferring everything to digital and editing on my Mac.

What sort of camera did you use? I have been using a Kinoflex, a spring-wound wonder from Soviet Russia. (I call it the Commie Cam) I love the fact that I have to stop to wind the motor before each shot. My cast found this entertaining as well.

Since you processed the film yourself, I assume it was not Kodachrome 40 (which is what I have been using.) Did you use a black and white stock?

If I ever finish my film, I'll show you mine if you show me yours.
