I still remember when we ate there and BT ordered some sort of thing he kept hearing them mention on Iron Chef. Apparently it's not normally the sort of thing Americans enjoy, so the waitress wated to make sure he knew what he was getting into. I think it was natto. Anyhow, she was really excited that he was going to try it and showed him how to stir it up (a very mom-like moment) and checked to see if he liked it, which he did. I have this mental picture of when she slipped out of polite waitress role into enthusiastic mom role. It's a fun memory.
