Oh good. I keep hearing that "no child left behind" has meant the end of "gifted" programs many places, because the effect of making gov't mandated standards is that places are no longer willing to exceed those standards.
If things had progressed to the point where smart kids were treated as behavior problems just for being smart...I don' know.
