Skype Out is now free. Skype is a instant meesanger/voice program that would let you call people from computer to computer for free and would also let you call computer to a real phone (landline, mobile phone) for about 2 cents within the US. now its free until 2007. so you can basically call anybody from your computer for free. Also within Canada too.
