I saw a lady lose her CD walkman in a subway slot the other day. That's what she gets for bucking the system. Who uses CD Walkmen now? No one. Time to get current, lady.
I kid. She was walking in, the doors closed on her Walkman, it fell off her belt, hit the side of the train and uncoupled from her headphones cord falling onto the rails. Seconds later the train took off. No more Walkman playing Anne Murray for her.
Being a Bostonian, she had to talk to the entire train about it. "Well, that's what I get for not paying attention. After it hit the side, it was still playing in my ears, talk about non-skip. So much for that, huh? It's probably smashed now. Oh well."
