Previous explanations have been "I get Matterhorn Fan confused with MonorailMan," and "you and HTHBellcaptain sounded like old college buddies." Neither of those work, since those people aren't posting here.
Sexist or not, I'll take "you seemed to be making good arguments so I just assumed you were a guy" as a compliment.
As for "if you had made it to a meet I was at, I'd have known you by now," announce a trip to WDW and we can set up a meet.
