				Artism

The world flipped on its sideand I dropped into a painted
 canvas.

I fell to my knees as
 butter nut squash colored
 my legs.

 I clenched my hands and
 indigo blue errupted through
 my fingers.

 Up close this new land
 was a torrent of different
 hues washing in and out.

 A clutter of multi-colored
 fish engaged in a frozen
 swim.

 So much to absorb,
 madenning and bold
 magnificent and wild.

A streak here and a swipe
 there, I walked across
chestnut brown that made a chair.

 So complicated and tangled,
 expression enveloped in angst
 and glee.

 With the world untipped,
I found the painting looked just
 like me.
