Here's what I have been up to...
Nothin.
OK, I’m well - At least my latest checkup came back with a good bill of health, although I do need to exercise and still get my weight down some more. Work has arranged for me to work 7am to 11am, then have 4 hours off for Gym and Lunch, and work from 3pm to 7pm – kind of like having a siesta. I think this will work for me. Working till 10pm (like I was) meant I didn’t get to bed until 3am or so. This made me not very amenable to going to the gym. This is why the new arrangement works so well. The only other thing is a slight murmur in my heart, caused by a slightly enlarged valve. This is ok, and we will just monitor it each year to make sure it’s not thickening anymore. *Phew* So enough about me…… what do YOU think about me ? Hehehe.
Good to hear that you’re all still LOTting about. It's nice to have a constant in one's life. So did Kevy & Chris do that hairy nude photoshoot for me ?? and when is GC going to grow a beard ? And where's everyone else? And what's happening to the Haunted Mansion ?!?! New Bride ! Sounds good. Where's the Hatbox Ghost ? and are the new attic pictures lenticular or projected ? So much to ask !
Sad news though, It looks like we may not be getting to LA this trip, as Japan is taking up most of the time again – this is most likely the last trip we’ll do to the land of the rising mickey, and as such we would like to see as much of it as possible. Also the cost of adding a flight over to West coast from Japan was too expensive, however the USA will be on our next agenda in 2009. (however if a big burst of cash comes in we may be able to go after all, so don't write me off completely just yet)
We had a lovely time at the Gold Coast recently, and went to Sea-world and Movieworld, and rode lots of good rollercoasters, including the new Superman Escape – a launched coaster that’s really really good. (I still love the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster as well).
Dad's been in and out of hospital too, but things are settled down again there now, so all's good.
Big Hugs to all !!!
Rob
