The only one that really annoyed me rather than just providing thought to pass the time was that apparently he can travel faster than the speed of light since he was only gone for five years (unless he just got bored and returned without actually getting there) and then when returning
he was simultaneously burning up on reentry but moving at much less than the speed of sound (since Ma Kent's farm was shaking and rattling long before he passed over); those two things don't happen simultaneously.

But if you do enjoy the movie, none of those things will probably even enter your mind.

Spoiler:
Errr, so if you were flying an FTL craft and coming in for a landing on a planet you would keep the peddle to the metal and just figure the ground would stop you from a speed > 186,282 miles/second? Might be fine for you, but I'd like to slow down a bit before slamming into the ground. No why the ultra-advanced Krypton society was unable to design a craft with landing gear is a mystery.

Tensile strength: Plane, Boat, big land thingy... I'm with you on that one and what clever scriptwriter came up with the idea, "Hey I know we'll just have Superman lift EVEYTHING! Thatll be exciting."
