I too will own the next book club book, but in a slightly less straightforward manner. I picked up a copy at the library. Then, while watching a movie, we heard a thud from the direction of Munchkin. We didn't think much of it. Then I heard munching noises where there was nothing that he should have been munching on. Seems he managed to reach up, pull the book from the table it was on, and was happily munching away. In mere seconds, the edges of the entire introduction were chewed. So now I get to pay the library retail + processing fee so they can replace it.
I wonder if that's tax deductable.
