Good intentions in pulling that quote, GC, but using Ann Coulter kind of defeats the purpose: you expect that kind of insane comment from her.
I think the more relevant point is this: "When this form of verbal abuse becomes part and parcel of the everyday parlance between people, we have created a society characterized by its zero-tolerance of inclusion and diversity, where name-calling becomes an accepted norm."
When does a racial or sexist slur used as a joke become not a joke? Is it only when the target takes offense?
