Grabbing a bite of lunch (spaghetti/marinara), watching As The World Turns...thinking I should be doing something more substantial...
Trying to not be upset...while I was serving lunch at school...Bailey was crying. He said he got a "referral" which means detention while on the playground..for throwing a rock. Not at anyone...just throwing it. Now..I've met and been around the playground monitors...and they are wenches with a capital B!

Horrid women who delite in the pain and suffering of little children.
And I know Bailey...I know the tears of a "oops I got caught" face and the tears of a "I didn't do anything wrong"face...and he was for sure sporting the later...I reassured him with a hug and a promise he wouldn't get in trouble at home for this...he was still upset which means...he didn't do anything wrong!
Should I stand up for him, make a fuss, or let it be? Hmmm!
