It's an aquired taste. I enjoyed watching it, but not enough to buy on DVD. I got a kick out of the somewhat original visual design, especially as regards the little granny, and the legs of the main character, and even found humor in the making fun of Americans stuff. But even though I enjoyed watching it, I did not get emotionally connected to it. It was sort of like watching Rescuers, but without the heartwarming, little-kid-singing-at-the-moon thing.
