Well, the vet called, his catheter is in, he came off the sedative just fine and he is unblocked. Now, two days of IV/Catheter combo and he'll be home.

Any idea as to the cause of this problem?
Does he need a change of diet?
Meds to keep it from happening again?
Is he just getting older and this is to be expected?
Whatever the reason, I hope he's back home and healthy very soon.
