Oh, we did that. It's the outlet. It was working before I started painting that bathroom, and at some point the reset button popped off entirely. And now it clearly has issues. *sigh* This means Yet Another phone call to daddy and the tough choice: pay big bucks for the professional (that may or may not be any good), or pay big sanity points for listening to my dad while he first criticizes everything about my life, then investigates all the wiring not related to that outlet, before hours later finally taking care of that outlet - after he first experiments with something he read about.
Seriously, everyone who thinks I'm a royal PITA should meet my dad. You'll realize how miraculous it is that I'm not worse.
