Why not fix your teeth with your money, and take their money and buy whatever you would have originally spent on other things. Yes, it all comes out the same in the end, but it's way more fun psychologically if you can tell yourself that *you* paid for your dental repair and *they* paid for your trip to DL (or whatever).
